Billy McLeod has nearly 20 years of training experience. He has served as a trainer for the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
Billy currently serves as a Program Manager in the Office of Accreditation with the Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA) Board. In his current position as a Program Manager, Billy serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on training, training standards and professional development.
As a training expert, Billy is experienced in the strategic analysis and planning related to organizational and employee engagement and development, leadership development, team leadership and organizational change initiatives. He has designed, developed, and implemented numerous executive and employee leadership and training programs. Billy has facilitated organizational audits, performance improvement, impact studies, training, and HR-related projects such as competency systems.
A Kirkpatrick Certified Facilitator, Billy facilitates the Kirkpatrick Four Levels® Evaluation Certification Program. He utilizes a wide variety of adult learning principles in facilitating the Kirkpatrick Model, the foremost evaluation methodology in the world. Billy assists companies, government agencies and industries in gaining a complete understanding of what each level measures and why evaluation is critical to training success. He uses his many years of training experience and interaction with training professionals at all levels to share worldwide best practices.
Billy holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree and a Master of Science in Post-Secondary Education degree; he currently is working on a second Master of Science in Criminal Justice degree.
