Oleg Matveev originally trained as a physicist, earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Saint-Petersburg State University, Russia. His second field of expertise was translation/interpreting, which he began to practice in 1994. Oleg has worked as a personal interpreter/ assistant at many workshops led by European and American trainers and teachers all over Russia.
In 1998, Oleg opened his own psychological practice/training course, being certified as a Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) Instructor and TIR Expanded Applications Instructor by the Applied Metapsychology Association (AMA) in the U.S.
Oleg has been a Certified Metapsychology Facilitator and member in good standing of the AMA since 2002. He has served as a Certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI) Trainer and an active trainer, coach and motivational speaker on a variety of occasions in Russia. He has led over 300 workshops and accumulated more than 12,000 hours of individual coaching sessions with many clients from all over the world.
Oleg met Dr. James Kirkpatrick in 2007 when working as an interpreter at the latter’s first workshop in Moscow. Oleg has since served as Jim’s interpreter at every Kirkpatrick workshop that he has facilitated in Russia. Oleg completed the qualifications to become a Kirkpatrick Certified Facilitator in 2013 in Moscow, Russia.
