IACET Partners with Kirkpatrick to Promote Learning Evaluation
January 26, 2019 The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), a global, non-profit leader in continuing education and training standards, announced its partnership with Kirkpatrick Partners to help promote quality learning evaluation.
IACET and Kirkpatrick Partners will kick off their partnership with a free online event, “A Candid Conversation with James Kirkpatrick about Training Evaluation!” on July 11, 2019 at 1 p.m. EDT. Registration is free for this interactive learning opportunity. Register at IACET.org/PDWebinars.
IACET CEO, Joe McClary said,“IACET partnered with Kirkpatrick Partners because IACET wants to promote quality learning evaluation. In today’s competitive learning environments where training is often the first thing on the budgetary chopping block, organizations that do not effectively evaluate their learning programs will have a difficult time sustaining themselves. IACET accredits quality learning organizations. Learning organizations will not know what quality and effective continuing education and training is unless they evaluate properly.”
Jim Kirkpatrick, co-owner of Kirkpatrick Partners, said, “Our partnership with IACET is a natural fit. IACET helps organizations to ensure that their training produces tangible outcomes. Kirkpatrick is all about ensuring that training leads to performance and measurable organizational results. We are pleased to formally announce our alliance.”
IACET accredits learning organizations against an ANSI accreditedstandard by evaluating organizational processes and instructional design methodology to ensure they are positioned to consistently offer a quality and meaningful learning experiences to adult learners. The ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard for Continuing Education and Training requires learning programs be properly evaluated which makes the partnership with Kirkpatrickall the more relevant.
